What can the Palliative Centre offer you?
HammondCare’s palliative care experience and participation in local, state and national programs have enabled us to build a strong body of expertise, research and resources on providing palliative care.
The Palliative Centre aims to improve end-of-life care by sharing those resources with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
We are committed to improving knowledge and understanding of palliative care, equity of access to services, developing leading research and above all, enabling people to die with dignity, as outlined in our Palliative Care Strategy.
Groundbreaking research to improve quality of end of life
HammondCare is a leader in driving continuous improvement and understanding of palliative and supportive care. Our research takes a holistic approach to patient health and wellbeing, extending beyond the physical condition and into psychological and spiritual aspects of care.
In collaboration with industry bodies and educational institutions, we engage in a range of projects varying in size and scope, including clinical trials, assessments, qualitative research and evaluations in order to share evidence-based best practices with health professionals, patients, families and the community.
