Restorative Care

Supporting you to stay well and independent at home as you age.

Live your best life, at home

As we age, daily tasks might sometimes get a little harder. Bathing, dressing, eating, shopping and cleaning can all feel more difficult.

It might not be as easy to keep up with the activities you love like catching up with friends or tending your garden.

Our Restorative Care team, made up of allied health practitioners, can provide advice and support to help you stay well and independent at home, so you can continue to do the things you love.

What is restorative care?

Restorative Care is in-home support by allied health practitioners, like physiotherapists and occupational therapists, who can help you stay independent.

It’s about improving your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and avoiding the need for higher levels of care, where possible.

It can take many forms such as:

  • equipment to help you move around the house
  • dietary advice to improve nutrition
  • or even art activities to help reduce stress and boost your cognitive function.

It’s based on evidence and tailored to your individual needs at home.
