There's an art to ageing better!

Join our Arts on Prescription program and get a dose of creativity
  • Make new connections
  • Express yourself
  • Challenge your mind
  • Improve your motor skills
  • Have fun

Arts on Prescription is a series of creative workshops for people over 65. Our professional artists work with you to explore a range of engaging activities, from painting, storytelling, music and beyond.

You don’t have to be creative or have done art in the past - Arts on Prescription is for everyone!

Illness, injury, low vision and frailty are no barrier - our artists can tailor and adapt materials and processes so that everyone can enjoy themselves.

Developing your creative side improves your health and wellbeing, meaning you can enjoy a more positive, active life as you age.

If you require the support of a carer, you are welcome to bring them along. It's an opportunity for them to connect with you in a new and enjoyable way, and even experience benefits from taking part in the activity, like reduced stress and increased wellbeing.

“For Mum, the ability to be engaged in something creative like this is immensely rewarding for her. She gets so much out of it.”
